Summary
This study follows 750 women with breast cancer who have had or will have a mastectomy and radiotherapy. Researchers compare different reconstruction methods (implants vs. using your own tissue) and timing to see which gives the best patient satisfaction and quality of life. The goal is to help women and their doctors make better-informed decisions about reconstruction when radiation is involved.
