Summary
This study tests a computer app designed to help breast cancer patients make informed decisions about breast reconstruction surgery. The app shows personalized images of possible outcomes based on each patient's treatment options and preferences. Researchers want to see if using the app reduces confusion and improves decision-making. About 35 adults planning mastectomy and immediate reconstruction at MD Anderson are taking part.
