First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at the chemical makeup of breast milk, especially its fats, to learn what makes it so good for babies. Researchers collected milk from 7 mothers of healthy, full-term infants aged 0-6 months. The goal was to find ways to make infant formula more like breast milk, so formula-fed babies can also get the best possible nutrition.
