First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special breast massage called the Marmet technique could help new mothers with common breastfeeding problems like nipple pain and low milk supply. 104 women who had just given birth were split into two groups: one learned and used the massage, the other received standard care. Researchers checked their breastfeeding confidence and problems at 24 hours and 15 days after birth.
