NCT ID NCT07529067
First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether a special breast massage called the Marmet technique can help new mothers with common breastfeeding problems like nipple pain and low milk supply. 104 women who had just given birth were split into two groups: one learned the massage, the other got standard care. The researchers checked their breastfeeding confidence and problems after 24 hours and again on day 15. The goal was to see if this simple massage could make breastfeeding easier and more comfortable.
