Antibiotic wash could save breast implants from early removal

Summary
This study tests whether rinsing breast implants with a mix of three antibiotics during reconstructive surgery can prevent the implant from being removed later. About 1,000 women having breast reconstruction after cancer or other reasons will take part. Half will get the antibiotic wash, half a placebo, and researchers will track how many implants are still in place after surgery.
