Research aims to ease gender dysphoria for trans men
NCT ID NCT07252687
Summary
This study aims to understand how gender-affirming hormone therapy and chest surgery affect feelings of distress related to breast development in transgender men and gender-diverse individuals. Researchers will follow 100 participants who have not yet started treatment, measuring their psychological well-being before, during, and after these interventions. The goal is to see how these medical steps help reduce anxiety and depression linked to gender dysphoria.
