NCT ID NCT00475761
Summary
This study aimed to understand why women with dense breast tissue have a higher risk of breast cancer. Researchers enrolled 466 women aged 40-65 who were scheduled for a breast biopsy. They analyzed biopsy tissue, medical records, and other samples to learn what makes dense breast tissue and how it might lead to cancer development.
