Could hormone therapy replace chemotherapy for some young breast cancer patients?
NCT ID NCT07311122
Summary
This study aims to understand whether hormone therapy combined with ovarian suppression can be as effective as chemotherapy for young women (age 50 or younger) with early-stage, hormone-sensitive breast cancer. Researchers will analyze treatment patterns and survival outcomes from 4,000 patients who have already received treatment between 2012-2021. The goal is to identify which patients might avoid chemotherapy while still getting effective treatment.
