Summary
This study is testing a treatment for early-stage breast cancer that combines breast-conserving surgery with a single dose of radiation given during the operation. It involves 620 women aged 55 or older with small, HER2-negative tumors. The goal is to see if this approach lowers the chance of cancer coming back in the breast and improves how the breast looks after surgery.
