Chicago study tests quicker scans to catch breast cancer sooner in At-Risk women

Summary
This study is testing whether shorter MRI scans work as well as full-length MRIs for finding breast cancer early in women at high genetic risk. Researchers will enroll 400 women with specific genetic mutations or high lifetime breast cancer risk who will receive scans every 6 months. The goal is to create a better monitoring system that catches cancer earlier while reducing scan time and discomfort.
