Can counseling help breast cancer survivors get back to work?

NCT ID NCT01780064

Summary

This study tested whether personalized psychological support helps breast cancer survivors return to work compared to standard care. Researchers worked with 128 women who had jobs before diagnosis, providing some with four counseling sessions during and after treatment. The goal was to see if this approach reduced work-related challenges and improved quality of life during recovery.
