First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving extra radiation to the internal mammary lymph nodes can help prevent breast cancer from coming back in high-risk patients. About 2,400 people who had a mastectomy or breast-conserving surgery with positive lymph nodes are taking part. The goal is to see if this added treatment improves how long they live without the cancer returning.
