First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study follows 1,250 women who have had lymph nodes removed during breast cancer surgery to see how many develop lymphedema (arm swelling). Researchers will look at breast tissue for signs of inflammation that might raise risk, and ask participants about their quality of life. The goal is to catch lymphedema earlier and understand why it happens.
