New drug cocktail aims to shrink tumors before breast cancer surgery

Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of three drugs given before surgery can effectively shrink or eliminate tumors in people with HER2-positive breast cancer. It will involve about 40 adults with this specific cancer type who have not yet received treatment. The main goal is to see if this pre-surgery treatment leads to no detectable cancer in the breast and lymph nodes when they are removed during surgery.
