New PET scan could predict breast cancer drug success before treatment
NCT ID NCT06715020
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan that uses a radioactive tracer to detect a protein called TROP2 on breast cancer cells. The goal is to see if this scan can predict how well a targeted drug (ADC therapy) will work for each patient. About 60 adults with breast cancer will receive the scan before, during, and after treatment to compare its accuracy with standard imaging.
