NCT ID NCT07156006
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This observational study looked at whether calcium deposits in breast arteries (seen on mammograms) are linked to traditional heart disease risk factors. Researchers also tested an AI tool to automatically detect these calcifications. The study involved 149 women undergoing mammography, comparing those with and without calcifications. The goal was to see if this simple imaging finding could serve as an early warning for cardiovascular problems.
