Can brain 'Prehab' before tumor surgery protect movement?

NCT ID NCT07471100

Summary

This study aims to see if special training before brain tumor surgery can help the brain adapt and protect movement function. Researchers will test two types of 'prehabilitation'—physical therapy alone and physical therapy combined with non-invasive brain stimulation—in adults with aggressive brain tumors near the brain's movement area. They will compare these approaches to standard care to see which best prepares the brain for surgery and may lead to better recovery.
