New scan could help doctors see childhood brain tumors more clearly
NCT ID NCT03977896
Summary
This study tested whether a special combined PET/MRI brain scan is practical and useful for children with a common type of brain tumor. It involved 15 children aged 5 to 18 who were scheduled for surgery. The goal was to see if this advanced scan could help doctors better identify the type of tumor before an operation.
