Blood test could offer new window into brain cancer
NCT ID NCT05157594
Summary
This study aimed to see if a substance in the blood called hPG80 could be used as a marker to track high-grade brain tumors. Researchers followed 30 patients with these aggressive brain tumors, taking blood samples during their treatment and follow-up. The goal was to learn if changes in hPG80 levels could provide information about how the tumor is responding to therapy or if it is coming back.
