Blood test explored to monitor deadly brain tumors
NCT ID NCT05157594
Summary
This study aimed to see if a substance in the blood called hPG80 could be used to track high-grade brain tumors. It involved 30 adults with these tumors who were starting radiation or chemotherapy. Researchers took blood samples during treatment to measure hPG80 levels and see if they changed as the tumor progressed or responded to therapy.
