Can a computer game slow down Alzheimer's? brain training study seeks answers

NCT ID NCT04566900

Summary

This study is testing whether a computer-based brain-training program can improve working memory in people with mild cognitive impairment, an early stage of Alzheimer's disease. 112 participants will complete either the active brain training or a placebo version during twice-weekly sessions for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in memory and brain activity to see if this approach could help slow cognitive decline.
