Scientists use treasure hunt game to unlock secrets of memory
NCT ID NCT06257433
Summary
This study aims to understand how our brain's motivation and reward systems work with memory centers when we actively seek information. Healthy adult participants will play a computer treasure hunt game while having their brain scanned in an MRI machine, then take memory tests. Researchers want to see how the feeling of solving puzzles and discovering rewards affects what we remember later.
