Scientists use treasure hunts to unlock secrets of memory
NCT ID NCT06257433
Summary
This study aims to understand how our brain's motivation and reward systems work with memory centers when we actively seek information. Healthy adult participants will play a computer-based treasure hunt game while their brain activity is scanned. Researchers will then test how well participants remember the game's details to see how curiosity and problem-solving influence memory formation.
