Summary
This study tested a noninvasive brain stimulation technique called transcranial random noise stimulation to see if it could reduce cravings in people with substance use disorder who also have other mental health conditions like ADHD, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia. 225 adults aged 18-60 who had been diagnosed for at least two years and abused more than two substances took part. The goal was to see if this safe, drug-free approach could help manage symptoms.
