Magnetic pulses to prime the brain for better OCD treatment
NCT ID NCT06840951
Summary
This small pilot study is testing if a brief course of non-invasive brain stimulation (rTMS) can improve thinking skills and make standard therapy (CBT) more effective for adults with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Ten participants will receive either brain stimulation followed by therapy or therapy alone to see if the combination leads to greater symptom reduction. The goal is to see if 'priming' the brain first helps people get more benefit from psychological treatment.
