Magnetic pulses to prime the brain for better OCD treatment

NCT ID NCT06840951

Summary

This small pilot study is testing if a brief course of non-invasive brain stimulation (rTMS) can help people with OCD get more benefit from standard talk therapy (CBT). Researchers want to see if stimulating the brain first can improve mental flexibility and learning, making the therapy more effective. The study involves 10 adults with OCD who will receive either brain stimulation plus therapy or therapy alone.
