Magnetic brain zaps paired with therapy aim to soothe emotional turmoil
NCT ID NCT06259851
Summary
This study is testing whether combining a special therapy with a non-invasive brain stimulation technique is more effective at reducing symptoms of borderline personality disorder (BPD) than either treatment alone. Researchers are working with 60 people diagnosed with BPD to see if this combination better helps with emotional regulation, reduces harmful behaviors, and improves mental health. They will compare four different groups to measure both immediate and long-term effects over a year.
