Shocking the brain back to health: new study tests electrical stimulation in stroke recovery

Summary
This study looks at how mild electrical brain stimulation (tDCS or tACS) combined with physical therapy affects brain activity in stroke survivors. 60 adults who had a stroke 2 weeks to 5 years ago will take part. The goal is to measure changes in blood oxygen levels in the brain, which may show how the brain adapts after stroke.
