Summary
This study tested two different patterns of non-invasive brain stimulation on healthy volunteers to see which one better strengthens brain connections, a process called plasticity. Researchers compared a standard pattern used to treat depression against a new, spaced-out pattern. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future brain stimulation treatments for depression, but this study did not treat depression itself.
