Zapping the brain to ease stubborn gut troubles?
NCT ID NCT07323407
Summary
This study is testing if a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help adults with constipation that hasn't improved with standard treatments and who also have significant health-related worries. Over 4 weeks, 60 participants will receive either the real stimulation or a sham (fake) treatment to see if it improves bowel function and quality of life. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and can ease symptoms for people struggling with this difficult-to-manage condition.
