Zapping the brain to sharpen the mind in schizophrenia
NCT ID NCT06003036
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation technique can improve thinking skills like memory and focus in people with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. Participants are adults who are already taking the medication clozapine but may still have cognitive difficulties. The research compares the effects of real magnetic stimulation to a fake (sham) treatment to see if it helps brain function.
