Zapping the brain to help Parkinson's patients think and speak better

NCT ID NCT07240272

Summary

This study tested whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique could help improve speech and thinking skills in people with Parkinson's disease. 28 participants received either real or fake stimulation for 20 minutes a day over two weeks. Researchers measured changes in word-finding, memory, attention, and speech control to see if the treatment was safe and effective.
