Magnetic pulses target Parkinson's pain in new brain study

NCT ID NCT07176091

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help reduce pain and other symptoms in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will compare different stimulation patterns in 90 participants to see which works best for improving movement, pain, sleep, and mood. The treatment involves magnetic pulses applied to the scalp and participants will be followed for up to 3 months to see how long any benefits last.
