Summary

This study aims to see if two non-drug approaches can help people who have both chronic pain and alcohol use disorder. Ten participants will try a combination of guided positive thinking about the future and a gentle, painless ultrasound applied to the head. Researchers will measure changes in pain levels, alcohol cravings, and decision-making before and after these sessions to see if they help.
