Zap while you walk: brain stimulation trial aims to ease movement problems

NCT ID NCT07291687

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS can improve movement when used during walking practice. It aims to help people with progressive supranuclear palsy, cortical basal syndrome, or Parkinson's disease walk better, speak more clearly, and control their eye movements. Researchers will compare results from real stimulation sessions to fake (sham) sessions to see if the treatment works.
