Zapping the brain to sharpen minds in hearing loss?

NCT ID NCT07389213

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique, combined with hearing aids, can help improve memory and thinking skills in older adults with age-related hearing loss. Researchers will compare three groups: people with hearing loss who don't use hearing aids, those who do use them, and people with normal hearing. The main goal is to see if the brain stimulation treatment leads to measurable improvements on standard memory and thinking tests.
