Zapping the brain to ease fibromyalgia pain
NCT ID NCT05903079
Summary
This study tested whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique could help reduce pain for people with fibromyalgia. Researchers compared a real stimulation treatment to a fake one in 100 women to see if it improved their pain, sleep, and mood. The goal was to see if this approach could be a helpful, low-cost treatment option.
