NCT ID NCT04663841
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether brain scans can predict how well transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) works for veterans with depression that hasn't improved with medication. Researchers will scan the brains of 100 veterans before and during TMS treatment to see if certain patterns in brain activity can forecast who will get better. The goal is to make TMS more effective by identifying the best candidates ahead of time.
