NCT ID NCT05509257
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether brain scans (fMRI) can detect how the drug naltrexone changes brain activity in teens aged 13-21 with eating disorders like bulimia or binge eating. Participants will receive both naltrexone and a placebo in random order, and their brain responses will be compared. The goal is to develop a reliable way to measure the drug's effect, which could help design better treatments in the future.
