Brain sensors could guide paramedics during heart emergencies
NCT ID NCT06072092
Summary
This study is testing whether paramedics can use a simple brain activity monitor on patients who've had a cardiac arrest outside the hospital. Researchers want to see if this monitor helps guide treatment decisions, like when to give sedatives, and if it can predict which patients might have permanent brain damage. The goal is to gather information to improve future care for these critical emergencies.
