Trial tests if less radiation around brain tumors works as well, with fewer side effects
NCT ID NCT02747303
Summary
This study aims to find out if using a smaller radiation margin (0 mm) around brain metastases works as well as the standard margin (2 mm) at keeping the cancer from growing back. Researchers will compare how long patients remain progression-free and monitor side effects like radiation damage to healthy brain tissue. The goal is to control the brain tumors while potentially reducing treatment-related complications.
