Scientists map genetic secrets of brain tumors
NCT ID NCT05848050
First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at the genetic and epigenetic changes in brain metastases from solid cancers. Researchers compared tumor tissue with liquid biopsies (blood and spinal fluid) from 21 patients to see if less invasive tests could reveal the same molecular information. The goal was to better understand how these tumors develop, not to test a new treatment.
