This study looked at how two brain regions—the cerebellum and striatum—talk to each other in people with genetic forms of dystonia (ADCY5 and PRRT2 mutations). Researchers used MRI scans and mild brain stimulation to compare patients with healthy volunteers. The goal was to better understand the disease, not to test a treatment.
