Summary
This study looks at why people with diabetes have a higher risk of memory problems and dementia. Researchers will use brain scans and thinking tests in 150 adults aged 50-80 with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, plus healthy volunteers. The goal is to understand how brain insulin resistance and blood vessel damage affect brain health.
