First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked for brain markers of catatonia (a condition causing movement and behavior problems) in people with autism. The goal was to see if overactive brain signals are linked to catatonia and social challenges. 26 people aged 15-40 with autism took part.
