Scientists search for clues to Post-Surgery brain fog
NCT ID NCT07200726
Summary
This study aims to understand why many older adults experience memory and thinking problems after heart surgery. Researchers will follow 50 patients aged 60+ to see if simple blood tests or short thinking assessments can predict or detect these issues. The goal is to find better ways to identify patients at risk so future treatments can be developed.
