Summary
This study looks at how chronic insomnia affects brain activity during memory and emotional tasks, and whether cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT-I) can reverse those changes. Researchers will use fMRI scans to compare 80 people with insomnia and 40 good sleepers. The goal is to understand the brain mechanisms behind insomnia and how treatment may help.
