Virtual surgery tool aims to make brain aneurysm procedures safer and cheaper
NCT ID NCT07433075
Summary
This study is testing a computer software called Sim&Size that helps surgeons plan procedures for unruptured brain aneurysms. The software creates a 3D simulation to help doctors choose and place the right implant device before surgery. Researchers want to see if using this planning tool leads to fewer complications during surgery and lowers overall hospital costs compared to standard planning methods.
