Virtual surgery trial aims to make brain aneurysm procedures safer and cheaper

NCT ID NCT07433075

Summary

This study is testing a 3D computer simulation tool called Sim&Size that helps surgeons plan brain aneurysm procedures. It will compare surgeries planned with the software against the standard manual method. The main goals are to see if using the software leads to fewer complications during surgery and lowers overall hospital costs for patients with unruptured brain aneurysms.
